Saturn’s Message in Pisces

Saturn takes center stage today on November 27, stationing direct in Pisces. The final station of Saturn in Pisces, close together with Neptune in the final five degrees of the Fishes, bringing messages from the deep abyss about your experience and lessons from Saturn transiting Pisces since March 2023, a period in which Neptune has also been in Pisces with Saturn for most of it.

Saturn Neptune as a whale is a whale of time. An oceanic dragon of the deep time. Time of the endless. Eternal. The kind of time our contemporary sense of time does not capture. The vessel of Saturn and Neptune contains all, including all of the illusory reality not contained by your illusions of reality. The combination of Saturn Neptune close together warps and distorts old notions of reality as our perception shifts to take in the creation of new collective realities.

Saturn and Neptune will spark a new era in February 2026 in the first degree of the zodiac, but this time is not that time. This time involves Saturn stationing while activating a Grand Water Trine. Saturn is close together with Neptune retrograde in Pisces, in a flowing water trine with Jupiter retrograde in Cancer, as well as a flowing water trine with Venus and Mercury retrograde in Scorpio. The watery flow between Saturn and Venus is close to exact, with Venus in Scorpio recently moving through exact trine aspects with Saturn in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer on November 26, 2025.

Present with the Grand Water Trine is Uranus at the final degree of Taurus. Uranus as the liberator Prometheus. The “Spiritual Prometheus” described by Richard Tarnas in connection with the 1993 conjunction of Uranus and Neptune that is activated by an exact sextile between Uranus and Neptune at the final degrees of Taurus and Pisces.

While Uranus in Taurus is in range of sextile aspects with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, Venus in Scorpio is applying closely to an opposition with Uranus that will become exact on November 29, 2025 on the same day that Mercury will station direct in Scorpio. The liberating, catalyzing force of Uranus can awaken deep realizations out of whatever watery, inner process of transmutation you’ve been experiencing in the past month with Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius and Scorpio.

The time approaches when the inner mutations and transfigurations become manifest as reality in the wider world. Saturn from the watery depths is calling for your creative response to your circumstances, acceptance of the imperfections as part of living out the inner values and convictions you’ve been forging.

Saturn forces confrontations with limitations and boundaries, including the intersection between the limits of our mortal forms and the eternal presence of our starry natures. Inner processes of dissolution lead to the purification of regeneration. In order to ascend with liberation we must descend.

With Mercury stationing direct two days after Saturn as part part of the grand water trine, with Hermes bringing a potent message while becoming visible at dawn with a flash of oracular light, ready to begin picking up speed again after the illumination of the upcoming Full Moon in the airy home of Hermes on December 4, get ready for the integration of living your realizations and embodying the wisdom cohered.

After Mercury stations direct on November 29, there will be a Full Moon in Gemini less than a week later on December 4 at the same time that Mercury is applying closely to exact trine aspects with Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces, once again activating the Grand Water Trine that has been in effect since the final week of October. Mercury will form an exact trine aspect Jupiter on December 6 and with Saturn on December at the same time Mercury will reach maximum elongation as a Morning Star and begin moving faster than the Sun in his fleet footed messenger phase.

Mercury will then activate the great sextile between Uranus and Neptune, forming an opposition with Uranus on December 10 and a flowing trine with Neptune on December 11. These days will have an intensified potency due to Neptune bringing a powerful message from the deep abyss as Neptune will station direct on December 10 for the final time in Pisces. On top of all of that, Mars out of bounds in Sagittarius, meaning an especially fiery, wild, and extreme Mars, will create explosive square aspects with Saturn on December 8 and with Neptune on December 14.

All of this places great emphasis on the internal processing, contemplation, and awareness brought to these upcoming days of Saturn in Pisces and Mercury in Scorpio stationing direct as part of the Grand Water Trine. We will be receiving messages related to much larger trajectories of development connected with the groundbreaking astrology of 2026. In the end this will be helpful in terms of making the necessary adjustments and gaining greater realization of what we want to focus our creative work on in the year ahead.
