The Fiery Forge of Saturn and Neptune

On Friday 7 February at 7 pm in the Mountain time zone, I will be giving the talk “The Fiery Forge of Saturn and Neptune on the World Axis.”

In the year ahead we will experience the extraordinary conjunction of Saturn and Neptune in the first degree of Aries, a key catalyst within the astrology of 2025 and 2026 that will shape a new era. With Saturn and Neptune ending and beginning their cycle while simultaneously moving back and forth across the threshold of Pisces and Aries, their activation of the World Axis at zero degrees of Aries will amplify their combined potency for dissolving old reality constructs while simultaneously giving birth to new forms of vision.

Saturn and Neptune constellate tensions between limits and the limitless, the real and the ideal, conditional constraints and unconditional openness, and the certainty of consequences set against the uncertainty of possibility. Fused together, Saturn and Neptune signify deception as well as eternal truths beyond the status quo of consensus reality. We will need to navigate through their waves of disorientation and disillusionment in ways that will nourish creative responses rather than corrupt integrity.

We will look back upon past periods of Saturn and Neptune conjunctions while looking forward to the unique astrological context of their current cycle and how we can gracefully and resiliently steer our ships through their stormy sea together.

The Light and Shadow of Mercury

On Saturday 8 February from 1 – 4:30 pm in Mountain time zone, I will be sharing a workshop entitled “The Light and Shadow of Mercury in Secondary Progressions.” You can register for this workshop with the Tucson Astrology Guild in this link here.

The changeable nature of Mercury is found in its synodic cycle and shifts between being direct and retrograde, visible and invisible. Tracking the shift between Mercury’s phases with the Sun in secondary progressions is a powerful technique for helping clients reflect upon their life story and envision the next chapter of their life.

In this workshop we will explore the meaning of Mercury’s solar phases and how they can be applied within secondary progressions to demarcate vital periods of personal development. Numerous case examples will be used to show how to apply Mercury’s movement within secondary progressions to the natal chart. Special attention will be given to the meaning found when Mercury shifts between being direct and retrograde as well as between being visible and invisible in secondary progressions.

Bring your natal chart and current secondary progressed chart, as we will spend time in small groups discussing the meaning of your current Mercury solar phase and aspects within secondary progressions.

Venus Retrograde in Aries & Pisces

In addition, I will be speaking on the COSME astrology podcast with astrologer Lisa Warman in front of a live audience on Sunday 2 February from 12 – 1:45 pm in the Mountain time zone. We will be discussing the significance of the upcoming Venus retrograde transit in Aries and Pisces. We’ll talk about the huge role Venus retrograde will be playing in the astrology of 2025 as well as talking about the general meaning of Venus retrograde periods and past examples from the cycle.
